The Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage launched a public consultation survey on the Wild Bird Declarations that allow for the control of certain protected wild bird species
The online survey was available on the Government of Ireland website.
The online survey closed on Friday 24 February 2023.
Over 740 surveys were completed by individuals and organisations and four written submissions were received as part of the public consultation. An analysis of the surveys and the four submissions are available below:
