Wicklow Mountains National Park: Bumblebee Identification Sunday 27 May 2018

Learn about Ireland’s wonderful bumblebees. The morning starts with a talk in the Education Centre, where participants will learn about the bees’ natural history and how to identify the species. The talk is followed by a walk to try and identify some of the bees out in the wild. Pre-booking is required. Where: meet at the Education Centre, Miner’s Road, Upper Lake, Glendalough When: Sunday 27 May @11am Duration: approximately 1.5 hours Practicalities: This event is suitable for adults and older children, 12 years+ (but younger children who are really interested will be welcome). Please leave your dog at home. This event is free of charge but please be aware that the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow County Council) has a €4 charge for car parking. Booking: booking is essential.
