June 2012: Irish Ramsar Wetlands Committee promote a national inventory of the wetlands resources of Ireland

Inventory of the Wetland Resources of Ireland: This small scale study, supported by the EPA, aims to compile an inventory of wetland resources available in Ireland, and will ensure these resources are publicised and available to a wide audience. There is a considerable body of information compiled on wetlands throughout Ireland, however much of this material is held locally, and is not immediately identifiable or available. The resulting catalogue of wetland resources will be made available and promoted through the Irish Wetlands website [ www.irishwetlands.ie ] and the partners organisations.

We would be greatful if anyone who has knowledge and experience of wetland habitats could complete a short questionnaire. It aims to capture details of wetlands projects that have been undertaken nationally, and their outputs.
