The Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has recently signed an order which removes female and antlerless Red Deer in County Kerry from the list of mammals which may be lawfully hunted during the Open Season. The Wildlife (Wild Mammals) (Open Seasons) (Amendment) Order 2012 reflects this change.
