National Ploughing Championship 2011

This year the National Ploughing Championships take place from the 20th. to 22th September at Cardenton, Athy, Co. Kildare. The National Parks & Wildlife Service will have a stand at the event again this year.

Our stand at the Ploughing Championships will be attended by our team of experts who will be able to advise and answer questions on how the farming community, landowners and the public at large can best help to protect Irelands rich and varied natural heritage. Access to our websites http://www.npws.ie/ and http://www.noticenature.ie/ will be available at the stand. Also on display will be an interactive digital map display showing National Parks and Wildlife nature conservation designations overlayed on the latest OSI mapping and orthophotography, via two large screens. There will also be a variety of information leaflets and nature posters available as well as other free stuff. So come and visit us. We look forward to seeing you there. We will be located at the Education and Business Tent, Dolmen, Stand 187, Row F, Block 1.
