Those who own these rights have the same responsibility as landowners to ensure that their activities do not damage the wildlife quality of a site. Any person who illegally damages a site may be prosecuted or required to repair damage.
The designation of a SAC, SPA or NHA rarely affects the shooting interests on the site.
